San Mateo Addition 2

A closed off 1940’s home gets opened up and expanded with a new addition of a primary suite, enlarged family room, new home office and deck at the rear. The exteriors are refreshed with new windows, doors and paint. Inside, new vaulted ceilings, playroom and an enlarged open kitchen creates a bright and modern space for this young family.

Emerald Hills Remodel

Situated among the oak trees in the Emerald Hills neighborhood of San Mateo County, a 1920’s former hunting lodge was transformed into a warm and open family home.

Santa Cruz Addition

After an extensive remodel and addition, this home on the lower Westside transformed from a dark, single story fixer to a light filled, modern and spacious home.

Miraloma Park Remodel

A 1930’s home in the Miraloma Park neighborhood of San Francisco refreshed for modern living. On the second floor there’s an opened up floor plan, a dining room big enough for the extended family, a remodeled kitchen and bath as well as a new primary suite bathroom. New stairs lead down to the previously unfinished first floor that now has a generous family room, another full bath, laundry and a separate Accessory Dwelling Unit.

San Mateo Addition 1

A tired 1940’s home gets its exterior refreshed in a craftsman style. Inside, a newly opened living space with vaulted ceilings and an expanded kitchen creates a warm, modern space for the whole family.

South San Francisco Remodel

A dated and closed off home in South San Francisco is made current with a new open floor plan, remodeled kitchen and bathrooms. Rather than doing an addition, existing underutilized areas were reworked to add a second full bath and expand the kitchen to meet the needs of a young family.

Russian Hill Remodel

An Edwardian era flat is transformed into a warm, modern space with updated kitchen, bathroom, living and sleeping spaces.

Palo Alto ADU

An under utilized garage is transformed into an accessory dwelling unit for aging parents. The new ADU references the mid century style of the main house, and a shady courtyard provides privacy between the two spaces.

Aptos Remodel

A dark home from the 1970’s in Aptos is made current with a relocated kitchen and a lightened up great room.
